Blast off!

During the last couple of weeks, we have been making catapults and looking at the design process of each different catapult. Earlier on we were looking at things such as different types of energy. Reflecting on the science behind the catapults and trying to build our own ones!

Building and brainstorming ideas to get the bigger picture in our minds so we can make the best catapult!

And here is our poster!

Something I have learned this year so far..

Something I have learned this year is how to make a lander! This year in one of my science projects we have learned how to make an egg survive a fall. The egg successfully made it and nothing cracked inside it.

I was panicking because we did have a limited supply of what we could use, and we did take the longest since we still had to add our parachute to it. I was struggling to understand how we could make less of an impact with less weight as well.

I understood the lesson very well but I would like to learn more about other landers and how we can make different landers with fewer supplies added.

Underneath is an image of our lander.
